Chapter 1: East Meets Tech - A New Take on Timeless Beauty
“Tradition evolved, not repeated.”
Dual Design Philosophies
We reimagined classic blue-and-white porcelain through two distinct lenses.
Visual Plan A→ Azure Dragon Awakening:
Inspired by 5,000-year-old jade dragon artifacts, this design fuses woodcut art with gradient celadon blues. Dragon scales transform into keycap textures, while auspicious clouds flow between keys – ancient symbolism redefined for modern setup.
Flat Design Language
Anchored in the mythical Azure Dragon and the elegance of blue-and-white porcelain, this concept unites three visual heritages:
- Porcelain aesthetics
- Dragon totemic culture
- Woodblock print style
The result is a refined palette of cobalt blues and cool whites that balances strength with serenity—paying homage to the elegance of China's visual tradition.

Pattern Visual Design
Every sketch began as a hand-drawn concept by our designer, then meticulously vectorized and refined through several digital iterations. Each stroke speaks of patience; each curve carries legacy.

Visual Plan B→ Mountain-Sea Poetry:
Inspired by Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai’s verse—
"The moon rises over Tianshan, adrift in seas of cloud"—
this concept transforms each keycap into a pocket-sized scroll of ink-wash serenity.
Cranes soar, bamboo sways, and moonlit peaks emerge across a gradient of misty blue. It’s where keycaps meet landscape painting.
Flat Design Language
The keycaps are predominantly in gradient blue, with strong visual impact. A small number of graphic elements are used to accentuate the design, reflecting delicacy.
- A graceful gradient in cool tones creates visual depth.
- Sparse yet symbolic illustrations bring tranquility to modern setups.
The theme font design matches the image of a crane soaring through the clouds, ethereal and expansive.
The gradient illustration technique combines the blended colors of contemporary blue-and-white porcelain from Jingdezhen with the poetic cultural expressions found in traditional Chinese painting.

Color Inspiration
Adjusting according to the colors of blue-and-white porcelain, the overall color scheme leans more towards the hues found in modern blue-and-white art works.

Chapter 2: The Porcelain Alchemy
“Where science honors tradition.”
- Every keycap is kiln-fired for over 15 hours, in a carefully calibrated range of 1140–1280°C (2084–2336°F). A process distilled from centuries of Jingdezhen craftsmanship.
- At 1140°C – The porcelain body starts to densify, sealing micro-pores and strengthening the base.
- At 1280°C – Cobalt oxide develops its iconic “blue bloom”, creating radiant, fade-resistant designs.
-
Why This Matters
→ As high as imperial kilns—but optimized for durability and performance.
→ Controlled density prevents brittleness while maintaining porcelain’s jade-like coolness.
Epilogue: The Awakening of an Eastern Spirit
“Azure Dragon Awakens” is more than just a set of keycaps—it’s a cultural revival at your fingertips.
We distilled five millennia of symbolism into a modern form, allowing tradition to breathe anew through design and touch.
It’s not only a keyboard accessory.
It’s an expression of Eastern aesthetics through a modern lens.
With every kyecap, you don’t just type—you summon echoes of ancient artistry: the grace of porcelain, the strength of the dragon, and our tribute to the harmony of beauty, technology, and heritage.
“The dragon has awakened—transform every press into a ritual.”
