But as tradition faded with younger generations, a question ignited:
"What if ceramics could speak the language of the new age?"
That spark became Cerakey—where ancestral mastery meets modern innovation.
Crafting ceramic keycaps was a leap into the unknown. Our pioneering attempts faced daunting challenges: high ceramic shrinkage at 1300°C and an unexpectedly high defect rate.
Amid skepticism that "ceramics belong in teapots," we achieved breakthroughs by leveraging alumina-based technical ceramics and years of ceramic expertise.
We effectively reduced the shrinkage rate, enhanced structural integrity, and enabled underglaze RGB lighting through innovative techniques.
Through continuous experimentation and technological improvements, our first product was officially launched.
In 2022, we initiated a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, achieving an outstanding result of $917,715 USD by 5,320 backers.
